TIPS AND PREDICTION KWA WANAOBET
Manchester United extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League to 15 matches when they beat Leicester 3-0 away from home last weekend. Nearly half of those 15 games have ended all square, but at home against Watford you would expect them to add another three points to their tally. The visitors have only won two of their last nine Premier League games and have lost five of their last eight on the road. We’re not expecting a high scoring match here, and a rather low key 2-0 win for the hosts looks a likely outcome given the form of both teams.
FST predicts – 2-0 Manchester United
Everton played the starring role in the game of the Premier League season last weekend as they thrashed Bournemouth 6-3 at Goodison Park to make it five wins from their last eight games. Now they’re visiting a much more defensive Middlesbrough side who have lost four and drawn three of their last seven league games. At home they have lost six of their last 11 in the Premier League and haven’t beaten any team in the top 15 of the table. Everton, on the other hand, have looked excellent of late, and considering their hosts’ poor attacking record backing a 2-0 win for the Toffees looks the best option.
FST predicts -2-0 Everton
Stoke’s unbeaten run may have come to an end last weekend, but they are facing a Crystal Palace side devoid of belief on Saturday. The visitors lost 4-0 at home to Sunderland last weekend to make it six defeats in their last seven matches. Away from home they have lost five of their last eight, whilst The Potters have avoided defeat in nine of their last nine home games in the Premier League. This includes some tough opposition, and considering the form of their visitors on Saturday I expect them to get a win. A clean sheet could be on the cards as well with Crystal Palace struggling to score under Sam Allardyce.
FST predicts -2-0 Stoke
Sunderland turned a corner last weekend with their 4-0 thrashing away to Crystal Palace, and at home they have managed to avoid defeat in five of their last seven games. They are facing a Southampton side who have lost three games on the bounce and have won just four of their last 12 in all competitions. Away from home The Saints have managed just two wins in the Premier League this season, with seven of them ending in defeat. Considering the hosts improved confidence and Southampton’s season-long struggles on their travels a 2-1 win for the hosts looks good.
FST predicts -2-1 Sunderland
West Ham have improved significantly since the departure of Dimitri Payet in January, and their 3-1 win over Southampton last weekend made it three wins from their last four games in the Premier League. They have won six of their last nine in the league, and whilst their opponents are not to be underestimated they will feel they have a good chance of victory here. West Brom have won just three away days all season and have lost five times, whereas West Ham have won three of their last five at home. I don’t see them keeping a clean sheet against a decent West Brom attack, but a narrow 2-1 win for the hosts looks good.
FST predicts – 2-1 West Ham
Brighton may have been poor defensively in recent weeks, but all of those sub-standard showings have come away from home and on Saturday they face off at home against one of the lowest scorers in the Championship. This should be enough to get them back to winning ways, especially considering they have won 79% of their home games this term. Burton have lost nine of their last 12 matches in all competitions and average under a point per game on the road. This, combined with their low scoring ways, make a 2-0 win for the hosts look the most likely outcome.
FST predicts – 2-0 Brighton
